Spring in Tyler State

Revisiting some sessions I never posted in a timely manner, just a sampling of this fun family session in Tyler State Park.

Seriously cannot believe it is September.  Did the summer season really come and go, just like that?  I admit I am sooo guilty of blog neglect.  Just…. cannot…. find enough time to do all of the things I want to.  So please forgive me, if any of those terrific clients of mine have been holding your breath in anticipation of your post (I’ll just indulge myself by suggesting this may be of monumental importance to anyone…).    I am busy shooting fantastic family sessions, not that you can tell enough by my posting.  At some point I will catch up!  (I’ll just keep telling myself that.)

Equine Senior portraits

I had the privilege of doing several sessions for this lovely senior in 2013.

Her final requests to her mom before heading off to college was a session with her beloved horse that she has been hers for years.  I am always amazed by the bond between horses and the people who adore them, and love when I have the chance to capture these moments of silent understanding between them.

Catch him if you can

This is one busy little man.

His parents and I spent the entire session just trying to keep up with this speedy guy, or at least to get his parents close enough to him to get them in the same picture.  Phew!  We had to trick him into holding still for just a few seconds at a time… and then off he went again!  I remember those times with my own kids, when you are relieved to get them to sleep that night, knowing you survived yet another day without any major events.  Those days go by so slowly sometimes, but then the years pass by in a blink.  Best of luck to these great parents, wishing them the energy they need to keep up with their world class sprinter.   Maybe someday they can have a family photo session where they are all sitting together, in a few years maybe…

Party of 3 in New Hope

Holy cuteness, this baby was made for family photo sessions.  She could not have been any happier throughout our time in scenic Lambertville and New Hope, and this Mom and Dad are completely in love with their little girl.  Can I borrow her to show the other young ones what the ideal baby would look like?  “See her over here?  All sweet and smiley?   Just like that.”   They are off to a terrific start with their party of 3.  Thanks for trusting me to document these moments in time, soon enough she will be asking for the car keys…
